We offer room acoustics and software training courses covering the fundamentals of room acoustics planning as well as software operations. After our training courses, you will be able to independently and efficiently plan room acoustic projects using Sarooma software.

The room acoustics and software training courses take place on the same day and one after the other. This gives you the opportunity to take part in both courses in a row, or to attend each course individually.

Fundamentals of room acoustics

This webinar provides the fundamentals for simple room acoustic planning based on Sabine’s reverberation theory. In addition, the relevant German regulations such as DIN18041 and others are presented. At the end of the webinar, participants will know the relevant principles of room acoustic optimization as well as the usual requirements.

Contents and goals

Introduction to the basic principles and planning parameters of room acoustics, such as reverberation time.
Learning Sabine’s reverberation theory on which the Sarooma software is based and acoustic prognoses are calculated.
Learning the basic principles of the main regulations in Germany (DIN 18041, ASR3.7 and VDI 2569).
