Room acoustics training
This half-day webinar provides users with the basics for simple room acoustic planning based on Sabine’s reverberation theory using the Sarooma room acoustics calculator. Examples are processed in accordance with DIN18041 and other relevant German regulations.

Contents and goals
Part I:
- Introduction to the basic principles and planning targets of room acoustics, e.g. reverberation time.
- Learning the underlying calculation method (Sabine’s reverberation theory).
- Teaching the basics of the main regulations in Germany (DIN 18041, ASR3.7 and VDI 2569).
Part II:
- Learning how to use the Sarooma room acoustics software.
- Tips for selecting suitable acoustic products from the extensive Sarooma absorber database.
- Teaching the functions and application of the Sarooma software and joint development of planning examples in accordance with these regulations.
Test license
For the joint development of planning examples in accordance with the regulations, 4-week test licenses for Sarooma are made available to the participants in advance of the seminar.
If you decide to extend your use of the software for a fee within 2 months of completing the webinar, the participation fee for the webinar will be credited towards the purchase.
